Lo Atamos con Alambre

I feel distant from Buenos Aires, where my dad grew up and where I picture the scenes from his stories. My brother and I never visited during our childhood, and it wasn't until 2018 that my family went there for the first time, just as I was starting to take photographs. We returned in 2023, and by then, my skills as a photographer had greatly improved. The phrase “Lo Atamos con Alambre” means “To tie it with wire,” symbolizing making the best of what you have. With these photos, I am building a connection to this place and bringing to life what I could only imagine before.
